In the same vein as our conservation of animals, we discovered SeedSavers and Seeds of Change. So, our garden (when we have one) grows a variety of tasty 'heritage' plants.

When we don't grow our own garden, we buy as much as we can from the local farmers who raise organic food. The Rochester Farmer's Market is a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning. There are also several local farmers who grow meats we don't raise ourselves. We will buy direct from them as well. Many of them also sell at the Farmer's Market.

We will have more information about our plants in the future.
