Fifty States
States, counties, and cities too
When memorizing them I'm blue
Trace the maps and label them
The number of states is five x ten!
They're all hard to memorize
No matter what their shape or size
I'll never learn where each state is
In time for Friday's weekly quiz!
Greenery Scenery
A beautiful bouquet of flowers
That grew from April's rainy showers
I picked them from the lawn
Before they were all gone.
They've been sitting in the vase
For only a few days
They're pink and purple and red and white
They make rainy days very bright!
The Stage
I love to act upon the stage
And upon it is joy, and dissapointment, and rage
Sound of applause tis music to ears
The words which are spoken, through the body it sears
With passion pouring from my soul
I burn through senses, making a hole
And so I continue to perform all the time
The sound of applause is from which I dine!
Cupid's Rain
Cupid hit me with an arrow
My heart is singing like a sparrow
I know he is the one for me
My heart is my eyes, and that's what I see!
Brandon
Brandon is my valentine
When together, my heart will shine.
He is so kind, and sweet, and fun,
He makes me shine just like the sun.
When he smile my heart beats fast.
I hope this love will last and last.
He is so witty, and cute, and smart,
He will always have my heart!

Mother's Day
It's Mother's Day
The day for Mom
My Dad is lucky
He married this madam.
So gracious and pretty
Doesn't need anyone's pity
I love you mother
And so does every other!
Yellow
Yellow is bright
And really quite sweet
It's warm summer weather
And a very nice treat!
Yellow is happy
Like a day in the sun
It makes daisies grow
And lets you have fun!

Like a full pot of gold
It makes everyone smile
And it's not big and bold!

Pounding throught the clouds
Angels bowling lots of strikes

The Young Girl
There was a young girl from New York
For dinner she ate too much pork.
She was very fat,
And so was her cat,
After that, she swallowed a fork.
Humpty Dumpty
Humpty Dumpty sat on a tower.
He was stinky and took a shower
And then the queen sent her best kangeroo
He patched Humpty up, with paper and glue!
Thanksgiving
Boo-hoo cries the baby
Glip-glop Dad pours gravy
Vroom-vroom goes the cars
Zzz-zzz we sleep under stars.
