Andela Schmorgie

2005-2006 School Year
My Purse
Dark, army green purse
Resting on my right shoulder
Tons of things inside

Morning Bagel
so much depends
upon
delicious, double toasted
bagel
steaming with melted
butter towel

Snowy Day - Japanese Haiku
Snow falls from the sky
Icicles on everything
Frigid, ice cold air

A Wizard's Favorite Sport
Quidditch
Leather quaffle
Heavy, iron bludger
Golden snitch wins. Blue and bronze for
Ravens!

Street Music
Fairly quiet
Not much noise
Birds chirping
Dogs barking
A car comes by here and there,
Now and then.
Flowers bloom all around
Or leaves fall to the ground.
Trees, trees, trees!
Sun of clouds
Rain or snow
Kids play
Run and jump
Ride a bike
Walk a dog
Peaceful street
Music

Greyhound
Whoosh!
Zoom!
There goes Skylar
Red brindle Greyhound
Zip!
Swish!
45 miles per hour
Couch potato!
Zing!
Bolt!
Beautiful creature
Rescued

Flowers
Pretty pink flowers
Given as a bright bouquet
Smell the aroma

Hogwarts
Gryffindor
Brave, red
Fighting, protecting, winning
Lions, gold, strength, Quidditch
Sneaking, tricking, concocting
Sly, cunning
Slytherin

Ravenclaw
Always reading
Ace the test
In my opinion,
We’re better than the rest.

Gryffindors have muscles of steel
In Hufflepuff, it’s friendship
And Slytherin, there’s a need for greatness,
But in Ravenclaw, ore brains never slip

Blue is awesome!
Bronze is good
You think it’s silver?
That’s for Hollywood

Forget lions
Snakes? Gross!
Badgers are whatever
She who sticks with the raven truly knows!
