Saying good bye to another school year
End has come once again
Oh the pain of saying good bye
It rips us apart watching our friends move on
Some of us stay behind to continue on
While others fly free from this place
It has been our home now for another year
To say good bye is ever so hard
I look around at faces old and young
And I can’t help but want to cry
It is hard to watch it end
The one thing that my heart
Truly has falling in love with
Don’t you see some will not be back
They leave us forever oh so soon
Moving on to there next phase of life
To live with out those that leave
Will be unbearable at times
Yet we all must learn to let go
They must learn to stand up
Move on with out us
Hard as it is we can’t hold there hand
We have to let them blossom
Growing into what we know they
Have always been capable of
Leaving here is just the next step
On there road and they will look back
Remembering all of us that are still here
We miss them every so much but a new
Year is just around the bend
Then this shall start all over again
With new friends to get to know
Soon it will be us staying that last good bye
To this place we all love so much
That day we shall cry trying to never forget
The lessons and memories we have shared
With in these hallowed halls
That is when we shall fly free to test our wings
The End is always a new Beginning
To a fresh start on our next great Journey
