Christmas Spirit
This world that we live in today
Such a mess it has become
Just look around cant you see
All the things that use to be
It is now Christmas time again
But NO you can not say Christmas
Holidays is what it is
Our country is all wandering,
Around a topsy turvey world
One where Christmas is becoming
Stamped out of what we were
Founded upon so many years ago
No more trees to light our way
NO more nativity scenes to show the way
No more Christmas feelings of Good cheer
Only greed for what one can get
Don't you see what they are doing
This society that we live with in today
Take away the one thiing that makes Us
All the giving of this season taken down
To nothin at all for share, caring and love
Have vanished into our past
A past where Christmas was once shared
With all you would meet every day
It was held up as a great time to be with family
But now where has that Christmas Spirit gone
Proccupied humankind has come today
Yearning in hearts for things not Love
Not much brotherly love do you see
Just a race pushing and shoving each day
My heart is sad for all today
For we have lost the Reason to celebrate
This Most Joyous of Seasons
